Weekly reports of driver's license applications and permits, 1939-[ongoing].

The probate judge must prepare a report at the close of business each Monday of all driver's license applications received and temporary permits issued (see Ala. Code, 32-6-5 [1975]). The probate office sends the report, the driver's license applications, and copies of the permits to the State Department of Public Safety. This series consists of the copy of the report retained by the probate judge. This record began in 1939 and continues to the present.
